NEW MEMBERS / CLUB CAPACITY
The club has reached capacity. For future seasons, places will first be offered first to current members who have played within the past winter and summer seasons. Once current members have registered, a limited amount of places may be opened up to fill any vacant places. Existing players who do not register on time, may not be offered spots once teams are full so it is very important for current members to register as soon as registrations open. We only have two home courts and will make our best efforts to prioritise existing players for spots on teams before opening up places to new members, but it is up to you to make sure you register on time to avoid missing out on a place. New members may not necessarily be placed on a team with their friends, they will be placed where there is a spot available.
Per player, per season $140
Volunteer subsidy $50
to be paid if you wish to be removed from the club volunteer roster for the season, this is only for club volunteer duties, all families are still required to take part in game day duties such as timing, scoring, fruit, pole covers etc.
PAYMENT OF FEES
Payment of fees is done through Play HQ when you register.
If we offer a spot to you after registrations close, you may need to pay by direct debit:

By registering at Glenunga Netball Club, all players / families are required to make themselves available to be on our volunteer roster.
You can choose to remove yourself from the roster by paying the $50 no-volunteer subsidy. If you are not available to volunteer when you are rostered and the club is required to find a replacement for you, you will be invoiced $50 to be removed from the list for the remainder of the season.
Summer season requires more volunteer hours than winter with duties at the city court to be rostered and covered by parents. Volunteering can consist of Covid Marshal duties, to staff the entrances and exits at city courts, club room duties at the city courts, or the annual working bee at the SAUCNA city courts. The club will not swap and change dates when you are rostered. If you are rostered, you will need to make yourself available, arrange to for someone else to cover your voluntary hours.
Separate from the above voluntary roster requirements, all players / families are required to take turns to score and time games, also to bring fruit to share at the games. These small jobs are rotated around to all players / families within the team and are not considered part of the voluntary rostered duties, this is simply a part of playing in community sporting club.
Uniforms will need to be purchased through the Nelson Teamwear online portal which is opened up prior to the beginning of the season, the portal is open for a limited time to allow for production and delivery in time for the start of each season.
Incorrect sizes cannot be swapped once purchased as dresses are made made to order. It is your responsibility to ensure you have ordered your uniform when the portal is open, so they will be ready for the start of season.
Uniforms are required to cover the buttocks of a player when they are standing still with their arms raised. Navy or black sports shorts are to be worn under the uniform but shorts should not exceed the length of the dress. If your uniform is too short, you may not be able to take the court as per SAUCNA uniform policy.
Late registrations will only be considered if a suitable place is available in the correct age group, or in the event of a late cancellation. Teams do tend to fill quickly, please ensure you register and pay on time to ensure a spot on a team and to avoid disappoinment.
